Aluminium reverse lift collar
More often than not we are finding the lift collar for going into reverse is stiff and sometimes won’t spring back no matter how much lubricant you spray on it. This is due to the plastic construction of the lift collar, a tiny grub screw attaches to a central rod in the shifter’s shaft but the surrounding plastic cannot take the strain. The plastic breaks and causes friction on the shaft.
We can offer an aluminium replacement that looks identical but offers the strength required for the task. Constructed from a one-piece billet and has an anodised black finish you will never have to worry about reverse gear engagement issues again.
