Charge cooler impellor kit
A vital component in any forced induction engine is keeping the air temperatures down, the Lotus Carlton uses a water to air charge cooling system driven by a small rubber impellor (originally designed as a bilge pump for boats!). These impellors often fail which means no water flow, increased charge air temperatures, poor performance and in the worst cases engine damage. Unfortunately there is no warning system in place to let you know something is wrong so it’s vital that the pump is checked. This is recommended at major services, or as part of the general health check that we offer, please ask for details.
Our kit offers a new impellor pump and seal for the housing.
